BELL Company manufactures two kinds of calcium chloride flakes- dihydrate and anhydrous. Dihydrate flakes with the assay of 74-80% calcium chloride, while anhydrous with 94-97%. Flake calcium chloride is made by steaming and concentrating liquid calcium chloride, cooling, and crystallization, drying and dehydrating. The process is labor-intensive, the product recovery rate is low, the water content and impurities are high, and the product shape is irregular.
